PODCAST: How To Break Into The Industry As a Director

For my second installment of Show Don’t Tell: A Podcast On Micro-Budget Filmmaking, I am tackling an extremely important question that filmmakers consistently ask me: How do I break into the film industry as a Director?

It’s taken me many years of trial and error to understand what does and does not work with regards to furthering my career as a director, and I really wanted to create this episode to share what I’ve learned along the way.

While I have had my sights set on directing for virtually my entire adult life, it wasn’t until a couple of years ago that I started to really come around to some of the fundamental truths about the industry and how it works, which have ultimately led me to the path I am on now. I still have a lot of learning ahead of me, and a lot of room for growth, but knowing I am on the right path gives me a great deal of satisfaction and intrinsic motivation, and I am certain that the same knowledge and lessons will benefit many of you too.

So without further ado, here is Episode 02: How To Break Into The Industry As a Director
