I’m Judging For This Year’s FilmConvert Color Up Competition – Let’s See Your Work!

As many of you know, I am a huge fan of FilmConvert and have been using it as my primary film stock emulation tool since it was first released. In fact one of the very first articles on this blog (way back when) was centered around it’s release, so naturally I was excited when the FC team asked me to judge for this year’s competition – “Color Up 2015”

Film Convert has an open call for entries in the following categories:

  • Documentary
  • Music
  • Wedding
  • Creative Story/Drama
  • Corporate/Advertising

Unlike a film festival, this competition doesn’t require that you create a brand new project to submit – in fact you are encouraged to submit work that has previously been created. It just needs to have been colored with FilmConvert (either the full or watermarked trial version).

FilmConvert 2015 Competition

The call for entries is open from October 19th to November 1st, so if you plan to submit your work be sure to do so before the end of the month! Once all of the submissions are in, FilmConvert will select their top 50 and the judges will select one winner per category. There will also be a Public’s Choice Award which will be chosen by the users, based on a voting system. All results will be released on November 17th as the competition comes to a close.

Best of luck with your submissions! Looking forward to watching some of your films this year…
