Earlier this year I ran my first giveaway through NoamKroll.com, and after such a great response I’ve decided to run yet another one! This time around it is even bigger and better, and is generously sponsored by one of my favorite brands on the market – Blackmagic Design.
My goal with this initiative is simple. I want to support a true micro-budget filmmaker that could use cash, a new cinema camera with accessories, and strategic advice to bring a feature film idea to life. As an indie filmmaker myself, I know how challenging it can be to get a project off the ground, and I hope to make one filmmaker’s journey that much easier with this giveaway. For that reason, I am not just going to be giving away equipment, but also my own time as I plan to support the winning filmmaker in a number of ways.
If you are selected, here is what you’ll get –
- Blackmagic Micro Cinema Camera ($995)
- Blackmagic 4K Video Assist ($895)
- Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve Studio ($299)
- NoamKroll.com 2 hour pre-production Skype consultation ($500)
- Promotion for your film on the Show Don’t Tell Podcast (dedicated episode interview)
- Ongoing e-mail support throughout production & post-production
- $500 Cash
This giveaway will run from today until January 31st 2018, and the winner will be announced in the first week of February.
To enter, simply follow these 3 steps:
1. SIGN UP FOR MY NEWSLETTER
If you’re not already singed up for the Micro-Budget Weekly, you can do so by entering your e-mail address in the form below. You need to be on my mailing list to qualify as a winner, but if you are already signed up, then you can move straight to step 2!
2. FOLLOW ME ON AT LEAST ONE SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNT
Use the following links to follow me on social media: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram. If you are already following me on at least one platform – great, you’re good to move to the next step. If not, simply follow any of my accounts to qualify, or follow me on all 3 for an additional chance to win!
3. TELL ME YOUR STORY
In order to qualify, you’ll need to send me an e-mail at info@noamkroll.com with the subject: FILMMAKER GIVEAWAY.
In your e-mail, let me know a bit about yourself, your project, and how you think you could pull off a micro-budget film using the package I am giving away.
Keep in mind, the final winner of this giveaway will be chosen at random, so don’t feel like you need to write an essay or submit your portfolio order to have a leg up. In fact, I would prefer that you keep your e-mail short and sweet – 1 or 2 paragraphs is plenty – just so I have some background on the winner once the random draw takes place.
That’s all there is to it! So just follow the 3 steps above and you are entered to win.
I can’t wait to hear from all of you, and I look forward to supporting the winning filmmaker over the coming months!

atHi Noam! Been following your site and newsletter for awhile and learning a lot from your shared experiences. It’s such a great resource and inspiration for going ahead with my first microbudget feature. This pack you’re offering will help get my production off the ground as I don’t own a monitor or a camera that shoots raw.
I’m a 30 year old professional editor and hobbyist filmmaker blessed with many people who support my pursuits with their skills and support. Money is usually the problem so I like to work efficiently and your tips have helped. My first feature script is almost complete and at 30 for me it’s now or never. Thank you for your chance!
